TowerPinkster, an architecture, engineering and interior design firm based in Michigan, is looking for a talented Information Technology Intern to join our team! This position will support our internal team by focusing on responsiveness to hardware and software needs, providing workstation support, and performing routine network and computer maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and have a passion for taking the initiative to tackle problems. 

Position Responsibilities
  • Support users through responding to hardware and software helpdesk tickets
  • Assist Information Technology Support staff with various projects
  • Support team with user lifecycle management (user account management as well as hardware and software deployment and physical workstation maintenance)
  • Facilitate eCycling efforts
  • Organize and document unused items, administer clean-up & storage
  • Assist with computer fleet builds, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Support and maintain asset management system
  • Perform routine network and computer maintenance tasks
  • Test new technologies
  • Provide feedback for improvements

Position qualifications
  • Working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer technology, or Information Systems related field
  • Must be able to work Forty (40) hours per week at a minimum (during the summer) with availability of at least three full days during the semester.
